How to do a Kickflip on a Skateboard

 Once you read this or any other article about how to do tricks, you really don't need to know any more. If you know how to do the trick and what it is, there is nothing else to learn. You think that by looking up hundreds of trick tipd on the same trick will help you land it, but it wont. Just go out there and try hard. I know this from experience.

First, set up your feet in an ollie position, but with your front foot hanging a bit off the edge.

Pop the tail and slide your front foot up like an ollie, but instead flick it off the dip where the nose starts. Remember, its a flick, NOT A KICK. While your flicking it off the top you wanna lift up your back leg so the board can flip. If you don't the result is the board wont flip right.

Next, you have to really stomp the landing. A very important thing about skateboarding is committing. You always need to commit to all your tricks to be able to land them. You will never land them if you are scared. Most people have the problem of only landing with one foot, and that gets really annoying. It is just because you are scared.

Possible problem: I only land with my back foot.
Remedy: Remember to bring it back, but sometimes you're just scared to land it. So grow some balls and just stomp it down.
Possible problem: I only land with my front foot.
Remedy: You have to make a clean level flip so that when you bring down your back foot, it goes right onto the bolts. Sometimes its just because you dont bring up your back foot straight, and it goes out and all over the place, and you don't land anywhere near with your back foot. Just remember that it has to go straight up.
Possible problem: I fall when I land.
Remedy: If the board is shooting out, then you're probably not leaning forward enough. And remember, you want to try and land clean, so don't stick your feet together to land, have them spaced and straight over the board.
